Educational programme DS_WORKSHOPS
On this page all the results of the DS-workshops for secondary school students are published. The theme of the DS_Workshops is Art and Freedom of Speech. During the workshop the focus is on censorship and manipulation. The educational programme consists of a theoretical part, which includes discussions at school of the theme and its focus, and the actual video workshop in the mobile AV-studio. During this video workshop small groups of students produce their own short movies, which are based on the storyboard that they have created together. Since the mobile AV-studio can only be in one place at a time and the demand for participation in the workshops is increasing, we are now also offering to do the video workshops at the secondary school, academy or university itself.
DS_HOTSPOTS
We are also offering secondary schools the opportunity to participate in the DS_HOTSPOT programme. This programme can, thanks to its network, offer a physical and virtual connection between DROPSTUFF.nl, the school, and the rest of the world. This is a great inducement to implement the DROPSTUFF.nl educational programme within the school over a longer time period. Teachers can request a brochure about the DS_HOTSPOT-programme by sending an email to CU@dropstuff.nl.
